A RESOLUTION OF THE TIGARD CITY COUNCIL APPOINTING SUE CARVER,BRIAN
DOUGLAS,JIM FUNK,ELAINE HERAS,LONN HOKLIN AND KATHY SLEEGER TO THE
NEW LIBRARY CONSTRUCTION COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the Tigard City Council established the New Library Construction Committee on
August 8,2000 by resolution 00-49 to consist of no more than 9 members,and
WHEREAS, the 3 members of the Library Expansion Committee, Curtis Tigard, George
Burgess, and David Chapman were appointed by resolution 00-49 as members of the New
Library Construction Committee,and
WHEREAS, the Mayor's Appointments Advisory Committee interviewed 13 candidates in
October,2000,
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
SECTION 1. Sue Carver,Brian Douglas,Jim Funk,Elaine Heras,Lonn Hoklin and Kathy Sleeger
be appointed to the New Library Construction Committee to serve for the duration of
the Committee's activities,with the conclusion to be determined by the Tigard City
Council. ,,
