RESOLUTION NO.00-56,
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TIGARD, OREGON IN SUPPORT
OF ANNEXATION OF URBAN RESERVE AREAS 48 AND 49 INTO METRO'S JURISDICTION
AND INCLUSION OF AREAS 48 AND 49 INTO THE URBAN GROWTH BOUNDARY
WHEREAS, Metro is seeking to add areas into the Urban Growth Boundary that have the
sponsorship of jurisdictions;and
WHEREAS,the City of Tigard has consistently supported the addition of Urban Reserves into the
Urban Growth Boundary; and
WHEREAS,the property owner(s)have requested the support of City Council;
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
Section 1: The City of Tigard hereby sponsors the annexation Urban Reserve Areas 48 and
49 into Metro's jurisdiction.
Section 2: Further, the City of Tigard supports the inclusion of Urban Reserve Areas 48 and
49 into the Urban Growth Boundary.
PASSED: This day of nLt-2000.
