A RESOLUTION OF THE TIGARD CITY COUNCIL APPOINTING MARVIN DIAMOND
AND REAPPOINTING DAVID CHAPMAN TO THE LIBRARY BOARD.
WHEREAS,an opening exists on the Library Board due to the resignation of Ken Toliver,and
WHEREAS, another opening exists on the Library Board due to the expiration of the term to
which David Chapman was appointed on June 9, 1998,and,
WHEREAS,Marvin Diamond has expressed an interest in sitting on the Library Board, and was
interviewed by the Mayor's Appointment Advisory Committee on June 28,2000,and
WHEREAS,David Chapman has expressed an interest in being reappointed to the Library Board
for a four year term and was interviewed by the Mayor's Appointment Advisory Committee on
June 28,2000,
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
SECTION 1: Marvin Diamond is appointed to the Library Board to complete the term that was
vacated by Ken Tolliver and which will expire on June 30,2003.
SECTION 2:David Chapman is reappointed to the Library Board for a four year term that will
expire on June 30, 2004.
