RESOLUTION NO.00-2
A RESOLUTION APPROVING BUDGET ADJUSTMENT#9 TO THE FY 1999-00 BUDGET TO
COVER A PROTE-C"TED DEFICIT IN THE BUILDING FUND.
WIIEREAS,the City of Tigard Building Fund is supported primarily by building permit fees and charges,
and
WHEREAS,building activity has been slowing down,leading to a drop in revenue to the Building Fund,
and
WHEREAS,building fee increases have historically not kept pace with increases in costs,and
MMEREAS,the Community Development Department has attempted to reduce expenses by holding
positions vacant and by limiting all discretionary expenditures,and
WHEREAS,the City still prmiPcts a net deficit in the Building Fund by the enu of the current fiscal year,
and
WHEREAS,it is necessary to adjust the FY 1999-00 Adopted Budget to transfer$150,000 from the
General Fund to the Building Fund.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:the FY 1999-00 Adopted
Budget is adjusted as shown in Attachment A to this resolution.
