A RESOLUTION APPROVING BUDGET ADJUSTMENT#8 TO THE FY 1999-00 BUDGET TO
TRANSFER FUNDS FROM THE GENERAL FUND TO THE FAC LITY FUND TO PAY COSTS
ASSOCIATED WITH BML ARCHITECTS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF A NEW LIBRARY.
WHEREAS,the City has engaged the services of BML Architects to help develop a proposal for a new
City library,and
'WHEREAS,BML Architects is ready to begin work on this project,and
WHEREAS,this project was:not anticipated in the FY 1999-00 budget,and
WHEREAS,it is necessary to adjust the FY 1999-00 Adopted Budget to transfer funds from the General
Fund to the Facility Fund to start wwk on this project.
NOW.,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:the FY 1999-00 Adopted
Budget be adjusted to provide funding for a contract with BML Architects to develop a proposal for a new
City library:
SECTION 1: In the General Fund,Contingency is reduced by$35,000 and Transfers to Other Funds
(Facility Fund)is increased by$35,000.
SECTION 2: In the Facility Fund,resources(Transfers from Other Funds–General Fund)are
increased by$35,000 and the appropriation for capital improvements is increased by
$35,000.
