A RESOLUTION APPROVING BUDGET ADJUSTMENT#7 TO THE FY 1999-00 BUDGET TO
ACCEPT A LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT BLOCK GRANT AND TO INCREASE
APPROPBIATIONS TO ALLOW EXPENDITURE OF GRANT FUNDS
WHEREAS,the City of Tigard has been awarded a Local Law Enforcement Block Grant in the amount of
$26,054,and
WHEREAS,the grant requires a local match of 10%,which is available within the existing budget of th-
Police Department,and
WITEREAS,the grant will be spent over a two year period,with$6,558 to be spent in FY 1999-00,and
WHEREAS,the City of Tigard has held the required public hearing prior to approving the plan for the ■�
expcitditule of'.'-- ,:.t funds,=d
WHEREAS,it is necessary to adjust the FY 1999-00 Adopted Budget to increase the General Fund
resources(federal grants)and to increase expenditures to allow the expenditure of the grant funds.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:the FY 1999-00 Adopted
Budget is adjusted to accept the Local Law Enforcement Block Grant:

SECTION 1: The resources in the General Fund are hereby increased by $6.558.
SECTION 2: The appropriations in the Public Safety program are hereby increased by$6,558.
