A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TIGARD,OREGON IN SUPPORT OF
ANNEXATION OF URBAN RESERVE AREA 49A INTO METRO'S JURISDICTION AND
INCLUSION OF AREA 49A INTO THE URBAN GROWTH BOUNDARY.
WHEREAS,Metro is seeking to add areas into the Urban Growth Boundary that have the spor.-orship of
jurisdictions;and
WHEREAS,the City of Tigard has consistently supported the addition of Urban Reserve 49 into the Urban
Growth Boundary;and
WHEREAS,a double majority of property owners in Urban Reserve Area 49A have indicated their support

r annexation;and
WHEREAS.additional property may be added to Urban Reserve Area 49A since Council was briefed on
the issue and the Exhibit A maps that are attached show one map with the inclusion of the additional
property and one without to cover both contingencies.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Co mcil that:
SECTION 1: The City of Tigard hereby sponsors the annexation of Urban Reserve Area 49A into
Metro's jurisdiction.
SECTION 2: Further,the City of Tigard supports the inclusion of Urban Reserve Area 49A into the
Urban Growth Boundary.
PASSED: This day of_ 1999.
