RESOLUTION NO.99- 2,
A RESOLUTION APPROVING BUDGET ADJUSTMENT 94 TO THE FY 1999-00 BUDGET TO
PROVIDE FUNDING TO PAY THE COSTS OF THE SEPTEMBER 1999 SPECIAL ELECTION.
WHEREAS,THE CITIZENS OF THE City of Tigard referred a proposed Charter amendment on the use
of Willamette river water to the September 1999 special election,and
WHEREAS,under state law,cities are required to pay the costs of conducting a special election,and
WHEREAS,this special election was not anticipated in the FY 1999-00 adopted budget,and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to adjust the FY 1999-00 Adopted Budget to allow payment of the special
election costs.
NOW THEREFORE, RF. IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that: the FY 1999-00 Adopted I
Budget be adjusted to appropriate $11,772 to pay the costs of the September 1999 special election as
follows:
SECTION 1: The appropriations in the City Policy and Administration budget unit are hereby
increased by$11,772 and the Water Fund contingency is reduced by$11,772.
