RESOLUTION NO.99 ,
A RESOLUTION OF THE TIGARD CITY COUNCIL APPOINTING GREER GASTON AS DEPUTY
CITY RECORDER
WHEREAS,the office of the City Recorder is held by Catherine Wheatley;and
WHEREAS,it is necessary from time to time for the City Recorder to be absent from City Hall;and
WHEREAS,it would be beneficial during such times when the City Recorder is absent to have individuals
appointed as Deputy Recorder to assure continuity of service to the public,Mayor, City Council and staff;
and
WHEREAS,Liz Newton and Dee Wise were appointed as Deputy City Recorders by Resolution No. 99-
42;and
WHEREAS,Greer Gaston has been employed by the City of Tigard to provide additional staff support in
the City Administration Department.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
SECTION 1: Greer Gaston is named as Deputy City Recorder. By virtue of this office, she is
empowered by the City Council to act as City Recorder at any time in the absence or
unavailability ofthe City Recorder,Catherine Wheatley.
