A RESOLUTION APPROVING BUDGET ADJUSTMENT #3 TO THE FY 1999-00 BUDGET TO
PROVIDE ADDITIONAL FUNDING TO THE RITE CENTER.
WHEREAS,the Residential Independence Training and Education(RITE)Center provides services to the
homeless in eastern Washington County,and
WHEREAS,the FY 1999-00 budget for the City of Tigard includes funding in the amount of$3,760 for the
RITE Cener,and
WHEREAS, the RITE Center has requested additional funding in the amount of$6,240 for a total
allocation of$15,000 from the City of Tigard to support its programs,and
WHEREAS,the City Council considered and approved this request on July 27,1999,and
WHEREAS,it is necessary to adjust the FY 1999-00 Adopted Budget to allow payment of the additional
amount to the RITE Center.
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that: the FY 1999-00 Adopted
Budget be adjusted to inc.,�ase funding for the RITE Center by$6,240 as follows:
SECTION 1: The appropriations in the social service funding budget unit are hereby increased by
$6,240 and the General Fund contingency is reduced by$6,240.
