A RESOLUTION APPROVING BUDGET ADJUSTMENT #1 TO THE 1999/00 BUDGET FOR
FUNDING REQUESTED BY THE TIGARD RECREATION ASSOCIATION.
WHEREAS, The Tigard Recreation Association took over the operation of the Tigard Country Daze
festival,and
WHEREAS, The Tigard Recreation Association did not submit a formal request for funding to the City
prior to the budget deadline,and
WHEREAS, The Tigard Recreation Association funding request for$1,000,to organize a parade for this
annual event,was presented at the June 15,1999 City Council workshop.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that-the 1999/00 Adopted Budget
be adjusted to provide for the funding of the Tigard Recreation Association activities in..the arnount of
$1,000 as follows:
SECTION 1: The appropriations in the Arts&Events budget unit are hereby increased by$1,000 and
the General Fund contingency is reduced by$1,000.
