RESOLUTION NO.99- 447
A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET FOR THE 1998/99 FISCAL YEAR.
WHEREAS, The Metro Greenspaces fund was established by a Metre regional bond measure in May
1995,which allocated$758,000 to the City for greenspace purchases and,
WHEREAS, The expenditures in the Metro Greenspaces fund anticipated purchase of greenspace
property totaling$259,000 in the 1998/99 Adopted Budget and,
%XrHEREAS, actual properties purchased totaled$334,582 and,
WHEREAS, local budget law allows the adjustment of the adopted budget through a supplemental
budget for conditions which were not known at the time of budget preparation which require a change in
financial planning,and,
WHEREAS, the proper notice was placed in The Oregonian advertising the supplemental budget hearing
which was properly held on June 29,1999.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that the supplemental budget is
approved as proposed.
SECTION 1: Additional resources in the Metro Greenspaces fund are recognized in the amount of
$76,000 and,
SECTION 2: Appropriations are increased for Capital Improvements in the amount of$76,000.
