RESOLUTION NO.99-92:._
A RESOLUTION OF THE TIGARD CITY COUNCIL APPOINTING ELIZABETH A NEWTON AND
DEE WISE AS DEPUTY CITY RECORDERS (SUPERCEDES RESOLUTION NO.98-43)
WHEREAS, the office of City Recorder is held by Catherine Wheatley;and
WHEREAS,it is necessary from time to time for the City Recorder to be absent from the City or City Hall;
and
WHEREAS, it would be beneficial during such times that the City Recorder is not present to have
individuals appointed as Deputy Recorder to assure continuity of service to the public,Mayor,City Council
and staff.
h'OW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that: (enter info here)
SECTION 1: Elizabeth A.Newton is named as Deputy City Recorder. By virtue of this office,she is
empowered by the City Council to act as City Recorder at any time in the absence or
unavailability of the City Recorder,Catherine Wheatley.
SECTION 2: Dee Wise is named as Deputy City Recorder. By virtue of this office,she is empowered
by 8.e City Council to act as City Recorder at any time in the absence or unavailability
of the City Recorder,Catherine Wheatley.
