A RESOLUTION GRANTING AN EXEMPTION FROM PROPERTY TAXES FOR NON PROFIT
LOW INCOME HOUSING PROJECT VILLA LA PAZ UNDER TMC SECTION 3.50 AND WAIVING
THE MARCH 1 APPLICATION DEADLINE.
WHEREAS, Tigard Municipal Code section 3.50 provides procedures for application and consideration of
non profit corporation low income housing projects exemption from property taxes,and,
WHEREAS, the code requires applications for exemption be filed with the City by March 1,and
WHEREAS, Community Partners for Affordable Housing, a --,aaiified Non Prot Cor^"- aalgid a
request dated March 31, 1999 for exemption from property taxes under TMC section 3.50 fora project
known as Villa La Paz.

SECTION 1: The applicant,Community Partners for Affordable Housing,qualifies for the exemption
set forth in Tigard Municipal Code section 3.50.
SECTION 2: The deadline for submittal of the request for exemption of March 1 is hereby waived
and the exemption from property taxes for 1999/00 is hereby certified to the
Washington County Assessor for all taxes levied by the City.
