A RESOLUTION APPROVING BUDGET ADJUSTMENT#2 TO THE 1998/99 BUDGET FOR THE
SUMMERLAKE PLAYGROUND PROJECT AND FOR A GRANT FOR THE COOK PARK BOAT
FACIT mEs.
WHIREAS, funds for the summerlake playground project were included in the 1997/98 budget but were
not spent due to the delay in delivery cf the playground equipment. The 1998/99 budget did not anticipate
the expenditure of$17,100 for the equipment which is now scheduled to arrive in July 1998,and,
WHEREAS, The City was awarded a grant for the maintenance of the Cook Park boat facilities in the
amount of$2,500 which was not anticipated in the 1998/99 adopted budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that: the 1998/99 budget be
adjusted to provide for the carryover of funds and for the grant as follows:
SECTION 1: Appropriations in general capital projects are increased in the amount of$17,100 and in
Parks Maintenance in the amount of$2,500.
SECTION 2: General fund beginning fund balance is increased by$17,100 and state grant revenue in
the general fund is recognized in the amount of$2,500.
