A RESOLUTION APPROVING BUDGET ADJUSTMENT #1 TO THE 1998/99 BUDGET FOR
FUNDING REQUESTED BY THE PAPE CRISIS CENTER.
WHEREAS, The Rape Crisis Center mailed a request to the City prior to the deadline but the request was
not received by the City and therefore was not presented to the budget committee for consideration. and,
WHEREAS, The Rape Crisis Center has submitted a copy of the request for$750 which was included in
the July 28, 1998 materials for Council consideration.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that: the 1998/99 adopted budget be
adjusted to provide for the funding of the Rape Crisis Center in the amount of$750 as follows:
SECTION 1: The appropriations in the social service funding budget unit are hereby increased by
$750 and the general fund contingency is reduced by$750.
