A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 1997/98 BUDGET FOR A U.S. DEPT OF JUSTICE
qW GRANT FOR POLICE EQUIPMENT.
WHEREAS, The Police department has been awarded a grant in the amount
$19,609 from the U.S. Dept of Justice for the purchase of equipment
which was not included in the 1997/98 adopted budget, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
Section 1:Revenue is recognized in the general fund the U.S. Justic:c-
Dept grant in the amount of $29,609.
Section 2:Appropriations are increased in the general fund for Police
Department equipment in the amount of $19,609.
