RESOLUTION NO.98- 04
A RESOLUTION OF THE TIGARD CITY COUNCIL MAKING APPOINTMENTS TO THE BUDGET
COMMITTEE AND THE PLANNING COMMISSION
WHEREAS, Craig Dirksen's and Gene Farnstrom's terms on the Budget Committee have expired;and
WHEREAS, Craig Dirksen and Gene Farnstrom are interested in continuing their service on the Budget
Committee;and
WHEREAS,Nick Wilson's term on the Planning Commission has expired;and
WFIEREAS,Nick Wilson is interested in reappointment to the Planning Commission;and
WHEREAS,Jim C^-tile has expressed an interest in serving on the Planning Commission;and
WHEREAS, The Mayor's Appointment Advisory Committee conducted interviews for the Budget
Committee on November 3,1997;and
",WHEREAS, The Mayor's Appointment Advisory Committee conducted interviews for the Planning
Commission on December 1, 1997;and
WHEREAS, The Mayor's Appointment Advisory Committee recommends that Craig Dirksen and Gene
Famstrom be reappointed to the Budget Committee;and
WHEREAS, The Mayor's Appointment Advisory Committee recommends that Nick Wilson Be
reappointed to the Planning Commission;and
WHEREAS,The Mayor's Appointment Advisory Committee recommends that Jim Castile by appcinted
to the Planning Commission.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
SECTION 1: Craig Dirksen be reappointed to the Budget Committee to a term that expires on June
30,2000.
SECTION 2: Gene Famstrom be reappointed to the Budget Committee to a term that expires on June
30,2000.
SECTION 3: Nick Wilson be reappointed to the Planning Commission to a term that expires on
January 1,2002,

AINk SECTION 4: Jim Castile be appointed to a term on the Planning Commission that expires on January
1,2002.
