We appreciate your working closely with our staff and the wetland consultant to ensure that the inventory meets state LWI standards(OAR 141-86-180 to t `-, 4 240)and the city's needs. Division approval does not guarantee that the wetlands depicted on the maps are the only a„ regulated wetlands in the inventory area, and there may be upland areas within the mapped ' .wetlands:However, after a thorough review,my staff is pleased with the quality of the LWI and .comfortable that it incorporates most wetlands and waterways. Exact wetland boundaries have not been staked and surveyed,.and there are inherent limitations in mapping accuracy::For these , 'reasons, the Division advises who proposes land alteration within 50 feet ofamapped r .,, wetland toobtain awetland boundary delineation by a qualified consultant and submit it to the Division for approval prior to the land alteration. + Approval by the Division means that the LWI becomes part of the Statewide Wetlandsi(. Inventory:-:Also,the LWI must now be used in lieu of the National Wetlands Inventoryfor the '..,, :Wetland Land Use Notification Process(ORS 227.350):.We are pleased that the City of Tigard has made a thorough wetlands inventory and wetland planning high priority, and that we were able to help provide EPA pass-through funding for this important work. j 't Respectfully, '. t Paul teary Director 4' j a. 4 +` N 41 U .S">. „ ..,... z 3: TFgard Local Wetland;lnuenrory-Ojjsire Option k WETLAND SUMMARY SHEET Nd 4 =WETLAND:E-28 Wetland Acreage: 10.70 Field Verified Date-8/23/94(-9.5 ac PFO, i ac PEM)y 217 and S of Pacific Hwy Beaverton Quadrangle TMS R1W Sec.36 1 Zoning:C-G(PD) Aerial:NE r,x ` NWI Classification: PFO, POW WWHA Score:61NR x4 Mapped Soils:22 Huberly SL ffl .Hydrologic Basin:Fanno Sub-basin: Red Rock Creek Hydrologic Source/Comments:Red Rock Creek, groundwater, precipitation Dominant Vegetation: Trees Shrubs HgrUffimerg me Fraxinus lafifolia Salix sp 7ypha lat3folia Rosa sp.
