A RESOLUTION APPROVING BUDGET ADJUSTMENT#2 FOR 1997/98 TO ALLOW FOR A
REVIEW OF BUSINESS TAX.
WHEREAS, The Tigard City Council has determined that a review of businesses paying the business tax
has not been done for many years increasing the potential that a number of businesses are not paying the
tax,and,
WHEREAS, Such an effort has been estimated to cost$6,000 which was not included in the 1997/98
,.
adopted budget.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that: Contingency in the general
t fund is appropriated in the amount of 56,000 in the City Administration Program,Accounting section.
