WHEREAS, the Solid Waste Efficiency Task Force has met and reviewed hauler suggestions for + " "�,

WHEREAS,the Task Force has recommended to the City Council that a consultant be hired to review,the �-�y,01

suggestion ofcommingling recycled material at the curb and to determine the feasibility and rate impact of O&M
the proposal. The cost of this review is estimated at$15,000 and vvas not included in the 1997/98budget, r, ,

WHEREAS,the Task Force and City Council have directed City staff to seek offsetting funds up to the t„
amount of$15,000 from Metro and Washington County. „.„,
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that: Contingency in the genera]
fund be appropriated in the amount of$15,000 in the Finance budget unit in the City Administrationlop, +�
program.
