A:RESOLUTION DELEGATING AUTHORITY TO THE CITY MANAGER TO APPOINT A "
REPRESENTATIVE OF THE CITY OF TIGARD TO THE TIGARD CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
z :BOARD OF DIRECTORS AS AN EX-OFFICIO MEMBER.

Y WHEREAS,the Tigard Chamber of Commerce revised their Bylaws on May 14,1997;and G"N
WHEREAS,the Bylaws expand the Board membership to include a representative of the city of Tigard as ,
an ex-officio member;and
WHEREAS;the Tigard Chamber Bylaws ask the Tigard City Council to appoint a representative;and `
WHEREAS,the Tigard City Council wants to delegate that appointment authority to the City Manager.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
SECTION 1: The Tigard City Council hereby delegates authority to the City Manager to appoint a
representative of the City of Tigard to serve as an ex-officio member on the Tigard `'xt"
Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. x ,
