Resolution No. 97-17 CITY OF TIGARD,OREGON RESOLUTION NO.97-I-7 A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE EXISTING FY 1.996-97 SALARY SCHEDULE FOR r MANAGEMENT AND PROFESSIONAL GROUP EMPLOYEES TO ADD THE NEW 1 CLASSIFICA"TION OF INSPECTION SUPERVISOR AT SALARY RANGE 60,AND TO AMEND $ ,., THE SALARY RANGE FOR THE CLASSIFICATION OF BUILDING OFFICIAI.FROM RANGE 64 c TO RANGE 66 w z` �T WHEREAS, the duties and responsibilities of a proposed new position in the Community Development `•�w s Department,Building Division, have been reviewed by Human Resources and the creation of a new classification of Inspection Supervisor at Salary Range 60 has been recommended;and m WHEREAS,in order to maintain the appropriate salary differential between supervisors and their highest s�z` paid subordinate,the salary of Building Official should beset at Range 66;and WHEREAS,it is necessary for the existing FY 1996-97 Salary Schedule for Management and Professional $ Group Employees to be amended to reflect the addition of the new classification and the change in the t—'4 salary range of one currently existing classification; r.z p l� NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that: ;z - SECTION 1: An amended FY 1996-97 Salary Schedule for Management and Professional Group Employees reflecting the addition of Inspection Supervisor at Salary Range 60 and y,s " Building Official at Salary Range 66 is attached hereto and identified as Exhibit A.
