r A RESOLUTION ADJUSTING THE 1996197 ADOPTED BUDGET FOR SERVICES PROVIDED TO
THE URBAN SERVICES AREA_

WHEREAS,The Tigard City Council is anticipating the signing of an Intergovernmental Agreement with

Washington County to provide development services certain areas of the County adjacent to the City which
services are projected to begin June 1,1997,and, � b
WHEREAS, The 1996197 budget did not anticipate the provision of these services and therefore must be a
amended to provide budget authority to spend funds to provide such services,and,
WHEREAS; Local budget law allows the Council to adjust the budget by resolution when funds are
transferred to the City for a specific purpose.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that: A new Fund is created entitled
thaUrban Services Fund. This fund will be used to record all revenues and expenditures resulting from:
activities in the Urban Services area.
SECTION 1: Revenues are recognized in the amount of 5275,006. NP`

SECTION 2: Expenditures in the Urban Services Fund are appropriated as follows:
