' WHEREAS, as a result of labor negotiations with the Tigard Police Officers Association,the classification
of Sergeant was removed from the bargaining unit and placed in the Management and Professional Group;
.., WHEREAS,Human Resources has determined that the appropriate salary range for this classification is
Range 63A;
WHEREAS,it is necessary for the existing FY 1996-97 Salary Schedule for Management and Professional
Group Employees to be amended to reflect the addition of the Sergeant classification;

NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
SECTION 1: : An amended FY 1996-97 Salary Schedule for Management and Professional Group
Employees reflecting the addition of the classification of Sergeant at Salary Range 63A
... is attached hereto and identified as Exhibit A;
SECTION 2: The Council orders the adoption of the amended FY 1996-97 Salary Schedule for 3
Management and Professional Group Employees.
