A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 1996/97 BUDGET FOR THE TREE REPLACEMENT FUND

WHEREAS, Tigard Municipal Code section 18.150.070(e)allows for the collection of tree replacement �.es,

funds to be used by the City for the specific purpose of planting trees on public property,and,

WHEREAS, a project has been designated for the use of such funds in the amount of$5,000 which was
not anticipated in the adopted budget,and,
WHEREAS. Local budget law allows the appropriation of such funds for a specific purpose by resolution. —x�d
1 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
SECTION 1: Revenue is recognized in the tree replacement fund in the amount of$200,000
SECTION 2: Appropriations in the tree replacement fund in the capital project program are
established in the amount of$5,000. '
