A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET FOR 1996/97 FOR THE BUILDING v t
AND ELECTRICAL FUNDS- `

WHEREAS, Building revenues are dedicated to the provision of development review services which
#{pp fluctuate with the level of development activity,and

WHEREAS, The adopted 1996197 budget did not anticipate the addition of a clerical position to the
building division and did not anticipate the volume of plans examination work that will be contracted out,

WHEREAS, The building division has requested the addition of a clerical position for the months of
April,May and June of 1997 estimated to cost$7,200 and an additional amount of$44,600 in contractual ;rx

services.

WHEREAS, Local budget law allows the adjustment of the adopted budget through a:supplemental r51

fund. Adjustments[o both funds fall below the
budget resolution if the amounts are less than 10%of each f

10%test.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
SECTION 1: Revenues in the building fund are increased by$279,000 and revenues in the electrical
fund are increased by$110,000.
