A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 1996/97 BUDGET FOR A LIBRARY INTERNET ACCESS ;

WHEREAS, The Library has been awarded a grant of $3,000 to provide for the costs of q
establishing a hearing,sight and mobility impaired Library user Internet access computer station �'P,
which was not included in the 1996/97 adopted budget,and r
WHEREAS,The Police department has been awarded a grant in the amount$17,904 from the
U.S..Dept of Justice for the purchase of equipment which was not included in the 1996/97
adopted budget,and
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
Section 1: Revenue is recognized in the general fund for the Library grant in the amount of �u '
$3,000 and for the U.S.Justice Dept grant in the amount of$17,904.
Section 2: Appropriations are increased in the general fund for Library Administration
equipment in the amount of$3,000 and in Police Department equipment in the amount of` x
$17,904.
