IVIIEREAS, the City of Tigard owns wetland areas throughout the city,and
WHEREAS, use of City owned wetlands for private mitigation may benefit the City,and gg2;2'
WHEREAS, the City desires to review requests for such mitigation on a case by case basis,

It is the policy of the City of Tigard that City owned property may be used for private wetlands mitigation.The City VIM
of Tigard will consider proposals for such mitigation on a case by case basis subject to the following: y

r^, I. It can be demonstrated that there is benefit to the City of Tigard and the general public. R
C t 2 The mitigation mus[provide a documented physical enhancement of existing wetland.
t 3. The City should be compensated for the use of the arca either through rent,lump sum payment,benefit to
x> the City,or as agreed to by the City Council.
t 4. The wetland mitigation should demonstrate no additional costs to the City for maintenance or other factors �Lrs
unless acceptable to the City Council.
