Whereas,voters approved the Metro Greenspaces bond measure in May 1995,and t S
Whereas,the measure included an allocation to local governments to be spent on specific types of park ..,„
facilities,and
' Whereas, Tigard's share of the allocation is $758,000 which is to be reimbursed as eligible
expenditures are made and which amount was not included in the 1995196 budget. a
3 NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
Section 1: A fund is established to be known as the Metro Greenspace Fund This fund will exist until
s all funds from the City allocation have been spent.

Section 2: Revenue shall be recognized in the amount of$758,000 in the Metro Greensp es Fund. r
Section 3: Appropriations are approved for capital projects in this fund in the amount of$758,000.
