.k RESOLUTION E:STA.BLISHING TERM LIMITS FOit MEMBERS OF THE BUDGET
COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, there are currently no term limits for service on the Budget
Cunffuittee; and
WHEREAS, term limits would offer an opportunity for more citizens to
serve on the Budget Committee; and
WHEREAS, term limits would be consistent with requirements for service
on City Council and the Library Board;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
Section 1: No person appointed after January 1, 1996 may serve more
than two full consecutive terms on the Budget Committee,
nonwithstanding prior appointment to an unexpired term.
