RESOLUTION NO. 94-si
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE DISPOSAL OF
SUBSTANDARD SURPLUS PROPERTIES FROM THE GAARDE STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT.
WHEREAS, resolution 94-15 authorized staff to determine the existence of
interested buyers and to negotiate for the sale of the properties and,
WHEREAS, staff has determined that disposal of the properties by quitclaim
deed is in the best interest of the City due to the fact that no market
C:_4erc. fnr these properties and that the City could relieve itself of the
responsibility of maintaining the p=cpertiea through such a disposal, and,
WHEREAS, TMC 3.44.010 (C) requires the details of any agreement of disposal of
the property to be approved by the council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
Section 1: The Council hereby approves the quitclaim of deed on Lot #.7 to
Mr. and Mrs. John P. Ryan for an amount to cover City costs of
the transaction not to exceed $500.
Section 2: The City Administrator or designee is authorized to sign
necessary documents including the deed to complete the
disposition of lot 47, lot #8, and lot #13.
Section 3: The City Administrator or designee is authorized to quitclaim
lot #^o and lot #13 to y��- terested parties j,-4th adjacent
properties in a mannersimilar to lot # 7, and such
transa.^tions are hereby approved by the City Council.
