RESOLUTION NO. 947
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF A COMMERCIAL BUILDING AND PROPERTY
OCNTED AT 12420 A—W MATIN ,STREET AND SETTING A MINIMUM ACCEPTABLE SELLING
PRICE.
VT--.REAS, after holding a hearing in accordance with TMC 3.44.015, the
City Council has expressed its desire to dispose of property located at
12420 SW Main Street; and
WHEREAS, the Council has found that the minimum acceptable terms of the
sale should be $92,500 based upon an appraisal done in May of 1993 or
the amount established by a review appraisal conducted in 1994,
NOW, TI E??EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
Section 1: Property owned by the City located at 12420 SW Main
Street shall be offered for sale in accordance with TMC
3.44.015.
Section 2: The Finance Director $hall contact the appraiser
responsible for the May, 1993, appraisal and request a
review appraisal to establish 1994 value.
Section 3: The minimum acceptable terms shall be set at $92,500
unless the amount established by the review appraisal is
higher.
Section 4: if no acceptable bids are received, the Finance Director
is authorized to list the property with a broker in
accordance with TMC 3.44.015 (H).
Section 5: The Finance Director i.s authorized to negotiate and sign
documents on behalf of the Ciiy to complete the sale
transaction.
Section 6: The Finance Director is authorized to deposit the net
proceeds from the sale in the General Fund.
