RESOLUTION NO. 94- 15
A RESOLUTION AU1'HORIZIP?G THE SALE OF SURPLUS PROPERTY FROM THE GAARDE
STREET REALIGNMENT PROJECT IiQ ACCORDANCE WITH TMC 3.44.010_
_ WHEREAS, the City Council in Resolution 93-15 dated April 27, 1993
authorized the disposal of three substandard parcels of property
associated with the Gaarde Street improvement; and
WHEREAS, a sealed bid sale was held on May 27, 1993 and no bids were
submitted; and
WHEREAS, the City Council amended TMC 3.44 in March, 1994 thereby
changing the procedures for the disposal of substandard property; and
WHEREAS, the Council desires to dispose of such property under the new
procedures set forth in TMC 3.44 as amended.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
Section 1: The Council hereby determines that substandard lots 7, 8,
and 13 related to the Gaarde Street. Improvement should be
offered for sale.
Section 2: The City Administrator or designee is hereby authorized
to proceed with the sale by determining the existence of
interested buyers, and negotiating for the sale of the
properties.
Section 3: Upon agreement with interest buyers, the agreement of
terms and conditions of sale shall be presented to the
City Council for approval.
