RESOLUTION NO.93-�
A RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING CONTINGENCY IN THE GENERAL FUND FOR A YARD
DEBRIS RECYCLING PROGRAM DESIGN STUDY.
WHEREAS, The City of Tigard has been mandated by DEQ to implement a Residential Yard
Debris recycling program by July 1, 1993, and
WHEREAS,Many technical and financial factors must be considered to ensure that the program
succeeds at meeting the needs of citizens and the requirements of DEC),and
WHFREAS,the Council has decided to hire a consultant to design such a program for the City
and such a project was not contemplated in the 1993/94 adopted budget,and
WHEREAS, Such a study has been estimated to cost$20,000,
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
Section 1: Contingency in the General Fund is hereby appropriated in the Field operations
budget unit in the amount of$20,000.
