RESOLUTION NO. 93-5
A RESOLUTION OF THE TIGARD CITY COUNCIL SUPPORTING APPLICATIONS FOR
DIVISION OF STATE LANDS ASSISTANCE FOR A WETLAND FUNCTIONS AND
ATTRIBUTES ASSESSMENT
WHEREAS, The Division of State Lands (DSL) has established a grant
program to assist local governments develop wetland inventories and
plans for their jurisdictions, and
WHEREAS, a DSL approved functions and attributes assessment of wetland
resources is required for Statewide Goal 5 planning purposes, and
WHEREAS, the City has not completed an approved functions and attributes
assessment of ILL wetlands, and
WHEREAS, this -is an eligible activity under the DSL grant program. j
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that-.
Section 1: the City of Tigard, Oregon, based on the aforementioned
considerations, hereby expresses its support for
developing information on the quality of the City's
wetlands and completing the planning for wetland
resources required under Goal 5 and authorizes submission
of an application for state assistance.
