CITY OF TIGARD, OREGON
RESOLUTION NO. 93-
A RESOLUTION DIRECTING STAFF TO HAVE PREPARED A PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING
REPORT REGARDING THE FEASIBILITY OF PROVIDING A NATT RE PRESERVE AND
MISCELLANEOUS IMPROVEMENTS THROUGH THE FORMATION OF A LOCAL IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT IN THE AREA BOUNDED BY SW HALL BLVD., SW DURHAM ROAD, SW 79TH
AVENUE AND SW ASHFORD STREET.
WHEREAS, the City Council has received a petition stating interest in
the formation of a local improvement district to provide a nature
preserve and abutting street improvements. The petition was signed by
79 property owners out of 169 property owners who would be benefitted;
.WHEREAS, a public meeting was held on June 10, 1993 at the Tigard Senior
Center to explain the local improvement district process and to answer
questions;
WHEREAS, the area to be included within the proposed local improvement
district is the area shown on "Exhibit A" attached.
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed and accepted the Preliminary
Evaluation Report entitled "Gage" Natural Area LID Preliminary
Evaluation Report which was submitted by the Community Development
Director and which recommends approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE 1r RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
Section 1. The staff is hereby directed to lhave prepared a
Preliminary Engineering Report, and the Council intends
that the report consider the following:
a. The scope of the work;
b. Financial information including a preliminary
assessment roll
C. The proposed district boundaries;
d. Estimated costs.

Section 2. The total cost of the preparation of the Preliminary
Engineering Report shall be paid by the City of Tigard.
Should the improvement district be established the cost
will be assessed to the district.
