CITY OF TIGARD, OREGON
RESOLUTION NO. 93- 31
A RESOLUTION INITIATING ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF TIGARD OF THE
TERRITORY AS OUTLINED IN EXHIBIT "A" AND DESCRIBED IN EXHIBIT "B"
ATTACHED. (ZCA 93-0002) (BAKER)
WHEREAS, the City council of the City of Tigard held a public hearing on
july '3 1993 to consider the annexation of one parcel consisting of
approximately 0.74 acres located at 11925 SW Bull Mountain Road; and
WHEREAS. ORS 199.490(i) (a) gives the governing body the authority to
initiate a minor boundar=y change by adoption of a resolution; and
WHEREAS, the proposed annexation constitutes a "minor boundary change"
under Boundary Commission Law 199.410 to 199.534; and
WHEREAS, the applicant has requested that this annexation be processed
by the expedited method without the Boundary Commission's study, public
hearing, and adoption of a final order; and
WHEREAS, the City Council may request that the proposed annexation be
approved without the Boundary Commission's study, public hearing and
adoption of a final order as authorized by ORS 199.466.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
Section 1: The City Council, pursuant to ORS 199.490(1(a) hereby
initiates proceedings for annexation of the territory
outlined in exhibit "A" and described in exhibit "B" to
the City of Tigard.
Section 2: The City Council hereby approves the proposed annexation
and requests that the Boundary Commission approve and
effect it as soon as possible.
Section 3: The City recorder is hereby directed to file certified
copies of the resolution with the Portland Metropolitan
Area Local Government Boundary Commission at once.

ANNEXATION TO
City of Tigard
Beginning at a point on the east line of the Northwest quarter of Section
10, Township 2 South, Range 1 West, Willamette Meridian, Washington
County, Oregon, 060 f- South of the quarter section corner of the North
side of said section; West and parallel with the north sectLor.
line 1164 feet to the point; thence South and parallel with the east line
of the Northwest quarter of Section 10, logo feet more or less, to the
southwest corner of that tract of land conveyed to Walter C. Baker and
Irene R. Baker in Book 983 on Page 105 in said County's deed records,
said point being on the north sight-of-way line of S.W. Bull Mountain
Road and being THE TRUE POINT OV BEGINNING; thence North along said
Baker's west boundary line a distance of 274 feet to the Northwest corner
of said Baker's tract; thence East along the north boundary line of said
Baker's tract a distance of 120 feet to the northeast corner of said
Baker tract thence South along the east line of said Baker tract a
