WHEREAS, the City council of the City of Tigard held a public hearing on
January 26, 1993 to consider the annexation of three parcels consisting
of approximately 1.94 acres located at the South side of Walnut Street,
east of the intersection of 132nd and Walnut; and
WHEREAS, QRS 199.490(1) (a) gives the governing body the authority to
initiate a minor boundary change by adoption of a resolution; and

under Boundary Commission Law 199.410 to 199.534; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
Section 1: The City Council, pursuant to ORS 199.490(11%a) hereby
initiates proceedings for annexation of the territory
outlined in exhibit "A" and described in exhibit "B" to
the City of Tigard.
Section 2: The City Council hereby approves the proposed annexation
and requests that the Boundary Commission approve and
/ effect it as soon as possible.
Section 3: The City recorder is hereby directed to file certified
copies of the resolution with the Portland Metropolitan
s Area Local Government oundary Commission at once.

Township 2 South, Range 1 West, of the Willamette Meridian, Washington
County, Oregon, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the southeast corner of that parcel described in document
number 87-42382 to Mark S. and Jill S. Link in Washington County deed
records and being South 89143.30" West, 1334.21 feet from the East
quarter corner of Section 4; thence North 0°54129" East by the east line
of said Link tract and extension thereof 675 feet to the northwest corner k
