A RESOLUTION INITIATING ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF TIGARD OF TH*5 TERRITORY AS
OUTLINED IN EXHIBIT "A" AND DESCRIBED IN EXHIBIT "B" ATTACHED. (2CA 92-06)

j WHEREAS, the city Council of the City of Tigard held a public hearing on November
10, 1992 to consider the annexation of One parcel consisting of approximately
2.44 acres located at 12040 SW Bull Mountain Road; and
WHEREAS, ORS 199.490(1)(a) gives the governing body the authority to initiate a
minor boundary change by adoption of a resolution; and
WHEREAS, the proposed annexation constitutes a "minor boundary change" under
Boundary Commission Law 199.410 to 199.534; and
WHEREAS, the applicant has requested that }his annexation be processed by the
expedited method without the Boundary Commission's study, public hearing, and
adoption of a final order; and
WHEREAS, the City Council may request that the proposed annexation be approved
without the Boundary commission's study, public hearing and adoption of a final
order as authorized by ORS 199.466; and
WHEREAS, the annexation of this parcel will result in the creation of a 2 lot
island.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
Section 1: The City Council, pursuant to ORS 199.490(1)(a) hereby initiates
procFedi.ngs for annexation of the territory outlined in exhibit "A"
andaescribed in exhibit "B" to the.City of Tigard.
Section 2: The City Council 'hereby approves the proposed annexation and
.requests that the Boundary Commission approve and effect it as soon
as possible. _
Section 3: The city Recorder is hereby directed to file certified copies of the
resolution with thePortland Metropolitan Area Local Government
Boundary commission at once.

A portion of Section 10, Township 2 South, Range 1 Fest of the Willamette
Meridian, Washington County, Oregon, more particularly described as
beginning at an iron pipe on the south line of the Northwest quarter of
said Section, 980.1 feet east of the southwest corner of said quarter
section and being the southwest corner of that tract described in deed
to William R. Robinson, et ux, recorded January 8, 1974, in Book 958,
Page 951 0£ said County Records; thence northerly by said Robinson west
line 416.39 feet the northwest corner of said parcel, said point being
the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence continuing north by the northerly
extension 411.21 feet to southerly right-of-way of S.W. Bull Mountain
Road (CR 147 1/2); thence West 172 feet more or less by said southerly
right-of-way to the southerly extension of the west: boundary line of that
tract described in deed to Courtney D. and Barbara M. Lasselle by
conveyance recorded in Book 359, Page 53 of said County records; thence
North by said southerly extension line 40 feet to the north right-of-way
line of said S.W Bull Mountain Road; thence East by the northerly right-
of-way of said Bull Mountain Road 303.29 feet to a point on the southerly
extension of the east boundary line of that tract described in deed to
Courtney Dale Lasselle in Book 519, Page 245 of :said County's records;
thence South by said extension line to the centerline of S.W. Bull
Mountain Road; thence East by said centerline 125 feet more or less to
the northerly extension of the east line of the Woerner tract recorded
July 1, 1955 in Book 370 on Page 705 of said County Records; thence South
by said Woerner's east line 446.37 feet to the northeast corner of the
aforesaid tract described in deed to William R. Robinson; thence West by
said Robinson's north line 254.88 feet to the west line of said Woerner
tract to the point of beginning.
