RESOLUTION NO. 92—
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY RECORDER TO SIGN AN
AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF OREGON FOR IMPROVEMENTS ON SCHOLLS FERRY
ROAD
WHEREAS, the Department of Transportation of the State of Oregon
proposes to make certain improvements on Scholls Ferry Road between the
Southern Pacific railroad crossing and Highway 217; and,
WHEREAS, the project includes work within the right of way of Cascade
Avenue, a city street, and revisions to the traffic signal at the
intersection of Scholls Ferry Road and Cascade Avenue; and,
WHEREAS, an agreement has been prepared providing for the improvements,
for the sharing of costs, and for the use of City right of way.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
Section 1: The Mayor and City Recorder are hereby authorized and
directed to sign, on behalf of the City, Cooperative
Improvement Agreement No. 11299 with the State of Oregon
identifying their relative obligations relative to the
construction, maintenance and operation of proposed
street and traffic signal improvements on Scholls Ferry
Road.
