Resolution No. 91-60 CITY OF TIGARD, OREGON
RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH
SAMES M. MONTGOMERY CONSULTING ENGINEERS, INC. FOR A WATER SYSTEM STUDY.
WHEREAS, the City Council has an interest in insuring continued high quality
water delivery to the citizens of Tigard; and
WHEREAS, the City has the authority to withdraw special district areas that fall
within the City; and
WHEREAS, it may be in the best interests of the citizens of Tigard that the City
assume operation of the water system within the City; and
WHEREAS, in order to acquire information on the water system in the Tigard area
it is necessary to enlist the services of a professional consultant with
experience in waterworks; and
WHEREAS, James M. Montgomery Consulting Engineers, Inc. was selected as having
the most desirable qualifications to conduct a water system study for Tigard; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to enter into an agreement with
James M. Montgomery Consulting Engineers, Inc. to study the water system in the
Tigard area.
,1 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
Section 1: The Tigard City Council acting in its capacity as the local
government contract review board authorizes the city Administrator
to enter into the attached contract with James M. Montgomery
Consulting Engineers, Inc.
