A RESOLUTION INITIATING ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF TIGARD OF THE TERRITORY AS
OUTLINED IN EXHIBIT 'A' A.1u DESCRIBED IN EXHIBIT 'BI ATTACHED (ZCA 90-0012
SCHECKLA).
6'1IEREAS, the City Coun�it of the City of Tigard hold a public hearing on November
5, 1990, to consider the annexation of two parcels consisting of 23.21 acres
located south of S.W. Durham Road between Serena way and 104th Avenue (WCTM 2S1
145.B tax lot 5800, and WCTM 2S1 14BC, tax lot 1500), and
WHEREAS, ORS 199.490(1)la) gives the governing body the authority to initiate
a minor boundary change by adoption of a resolution, and
WMF.PSIAS, the proposed annexation constitutes a minor boe.ndary change• under
Boundary Commission Law 199.410 to 199.510.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by she Tigard City Council that:
Section 1: The City Council, pursuant to ORS 199.490(1)(a) hereby initiates
Proceedings for annexation of the territory outlined in exhibit
'A' and described in exhibit 'B' to the City.
Section 2: The Council hereby approves the proposed annexation. and requests
the Boundary Commission to approve it and effect it as soon as
possible.
Section 3e The City Recorder is hereby directed to file certified copies
of the resolution with the Portland Metropolitan Areal Local
Government Boundary Commission at once.
