A RESOLUTION MODIFYING RESOLUTION NO. 87-152 OF THE. TIGARD CITY
COUNCIL INCREASING THE TIGARD PARR SYSTE14 DEVELOPMENT CHARGES
WHEREAS, current park system development charges of $250 for a
single family residence, $150 per multi-family unit, and $125 per
manufactured home space have been determined to be inadequate to
meet the need caused by new development for parks and recreation
facilities, and;
WHEREAS, revenues generated by current park system development
charges, are inadequate to keep pace with the increasing costs of
land and facilities needed for new parks to meet existing and
anticipated need, and;
WHEREAS, future park system users should contribute an equitable
share to future park system improvements, and;
WHEREAS, the Tigard City Council desires to increase revenues
related to park acquisition, development, and expansion, by
adjusting park system development charges.
'17fEREAS, the Tigard Municipal Code 3.16.030 authorizes the City

Ccuncil to set park system development charges by resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, HE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
The park system development charges or, and after January 1, 1991
shall be:
Single family residence: $500.00/residence
(includes manufactured
homes on lots of record)
Multi-family residence: $300.00/unit
Manufactured home space
in a manufactured home
park: $250.00/space
