RESOLUTION NO. 90-
A RESOLUTION AMPTIM A FEE FOR LIEN SEARCH SERVSCE
VUUWAS; the City of Tigard has been approached by various title ccuipanies to
provide city lien search service, and
WHEREAS; a survey of several surrounding cities indicates that most cities
provide such service at a rate of $5.00 to $12.00 per search, and
4HFREAS; Tigard Municipal Code, Section 3.32 requires that fees and charges be
reasonable, recover costs associated with providing the service, and be
approved by resolution, and
4hFMEAS; it bas been recon ended that the City provide lien search service to
title capanies for a reasonable fee.
NOW, THMEFuRE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
section 1: Lien searches of the City of Tigard lien docket will be performed
by the City of Tigard for a fee of $10.00 per lien search.
