A RESOLUTION AUTNORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY RECORDER TO SIGN A SUPPLEMENTAL
AGREEMENT WITtI THE OREGON DEPAR$1:2NT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR ROALTiAY IMPRO`VEbfENTS
AT THE INTERSECTION OF PACIFIC Hx—GAY AND SW 78TH AVENUE.
WHBREAS, by Resolution No. 88-55 the City Council authorized the Mayor and the
City Recorder to sign an agree2eeut ;rich the Oregon Department of Transportation
for roadway improvements at the intersection of Pacific Highway and SW 73th
Avenue; and
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 88-82 the City Council ratified Certain amendments
to said agreement; and
WHBREAS, coordination of project construction ac`ivities will be improved if
roadway and traffic signal improvements are bid as one construction project;
and
WHEREAS, a supplemental agreement has been prepared providing for advertising
for bid proposals and awarding of all contracts icy the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL°JED BY THE TIGARD CITY COUNCIL that:
The City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor and the City Recorder to sign, on
behalf of the City, the supplemental agreement dated November 16, 1989.
