4HH:REAS, the City of Tigard is a member of the Metropolitan Area CLRwInicatiOns
Ccimnission (MACC); and
WHIMEAS, the mergers of MACC have ehtered into an Intergovesnnmental
Cnoperation Agreement (Agreentnnt), and Section 9.E of the Agreement requires
that its twins shall not be amended without the written authorization of the
governing bodies of all the mFxn jurisdictions; and
it3fiEZFI�S, the current- midget projections show that without an increase in
financial support from its merb) jurisdictions, MACC's Tualatin Valley

hereby onnsents to and authorizes the ameridxent of the Agreement as follows:
sem-^.tion 1: To re Lxc e the distribution of franchise fees to the n—bers
jurisdictions frown 60o to 50% of the franchise fees collected
within each member's juris iiction, such reduction to be effective
from July 1, 1990, through June 30, 1493, with the 10% difference
in fry , fee_ to be contributed to 2,9sx's Tualatin Valley
Ccxni—'ty Access Program.
Section 2: To provide for a 52.5% distribution of frarKtxise fees to the
member jurisdictions for the period fran July 1, 1993, to ,lune
30, 3994, therety providing a 7.5% franchise fee ccntricution to
M CC's Tualatin Valley Commuaity Access PrCgram.
Section 3: Mat subsequent to .Tune 30, 1994, the member jurisdictiOMS will
revie-a that portion of their franct-LIse fee that funds MAOC's
Tuai.atin Salley Ams Program to determine future l—'s of
franc i fee contributions to the Acoe,s Program frau the
jurisdictions.
