A RESOLUTION OF THE TIGARD CITY COUNCIL REQUESTING THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
COMMISSION AND THE STATE OF OREGON TO ASSIST IN THE FINANCING OF THE PAR-BEST,
INC. PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the Tigard City Council finds that the development of the packaging
products manufacturing project by Pak-Beat, Inc. would foster the economic
growth and legislative policy as set forth in ORS 230.520 and 280.585, and
wHERE.§&, ORS 280.532 requires, before the approval of an Ore;an Business
Development fund project by the State of Oregon, that the governing body of the
appropriate local government recowaend the project, and
WHEREAS, the Board finds that the completion of a packaging products
manufacturing project :within the City of Tigard would be in the best interests
iof the citizens of the City of Tigard.
NOW, THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED BY TBE TIGARD CITY COUNCIL THAT:
