A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE FINAL ENGINEER'S REPORT FOR THE IMPROVEMENTS IN THE
SW 135TH AVENUE LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT, ACCEPTING THE PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
ROLL, DZFMCTING NOTICE BE GIVEN, AND DIRECTING A PUBLIC HEARING To BE MELD.
WHEREAS, the Council created thc- SW 135th Avenue Local improvement Diatric:t
and directed the improvements tc oe made by Ordinance No. 87-51; and
WHERRAS, the improvements have been completed, a final accounting has been
completed, and a final engineering report has been submitted; and
WHEREAS, the final engineering report contains the final coot of $616,106.98
,and ar. assessment roll showing the name of each property owner, the description
of the property assessed and the amount of the assessment against the described
property; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance 170. 85-40 provides that property owners may object in
writing and that each ouch Objection shall state specifically the grounds for
the objection; and
WHEREAS, Ordinanca No. t35-40 provides that the Council. shall review the
written objectlons at a public meeting.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
1. The Council reviewed the final engineering report and the Council accepts
the final engineering report as submitted.
2. That having reviewed the proposed assessments, the council hereby directs
that notice be given of a public hearing to be held on Monday, October 23,,
1989, at 7:30 PH at Tigard City Hall, 13125 SW Hall Boulevard, Tigard,
Oregon 97223, to review any written objections filed with the City Recorder
by 5:00 PM, October 23, 1989, at Tigard City Hall, 13125 SW Hall Boulevard,
PO Box 23397,/Tigard, Oregon 97223.

WHEREAS, THE CITY -IRTHER DESIRES TO EXTEND CONGRATULATIONS ON
THE FIFTH ANNIVERSARY OF SHIMIZU AMERICA CORPORATION AT THEZR
TIGARD LOCATION; AND
WHEREAS, BUSINESSES, SUCH AS SHIMIZU AMERICA CORPORATION ARE
INTEGRAL TO THE CONTINUED VITALITY AND SPIRIT PRESENT IN OUR
FINE CITY.
NOW, TREREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TIGARD CITY COUNCIL THAT:
