A RESOLUTION APPROVING TILE BUDGE T, MAKLNG APPROPQIATTONIG AND DECLARING 1-14E AD
VALOREM TAX LEVY FOR FISCAL YEAR 1989-90.
WHEREAS, the Budget for the City of Tigard for the year- beginning July 1,
1989, was duly approved and recommended to the City Council by the regularly
constituted Budget Committee at its meeting on the 23rd day of May, 1989,
after proceedings in accordance with Chapter 294, Oregon Revised Statutes; and
WHEREAS, a summary of the Budget docLwiont as required by Chapter 294.436,

of general circulation in the city in accordance with Chapt,—r• -i- 44211, Oregon
Revised Statutes; and
WHEREAS, a hearingQ

approved and recommended by the Budqe>t Comentittee, was duly called and held On
June 26, 1989, whereat all interested person; were afforded an opportunity to
appear and be heard with respect to thi Sudgtit,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE :IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
Section I The Council adopts the, budget for 1999-90 in the total sum of
$31,407,838 and now on file. at City Hall,
Section 2 The Council adopts and heru;3y incorporates by reference in this
resolution the following:
0 1989-90 Council goals as set forth on page one of the 1989-90
Budget Message.
0 1986-86 Agreement between the City of Tigard and Tigard Police
Officer's Association dated June 15, 1987, until such time
as a new agreement is negotiated.
0 1987-09 Agreement between the City of Tigard and Tigard Municipal
Employee's A5sociation/QPEU dated August 31, 1987, until
such time as a new agreement in negotiated,
0 1909-90 Salary/job classification pay plan for non-union employees
as set forth in the 1989-90 Budget, including a 4 percent
cost of living adjustment effective July 1, 1989 (4
percent last year),
Section 3 The amount for the fiscal year beginning July 1. 1989, and for
the purposes shown below Are hereby appropriated as follows:

Se__etion 4 The city council of the City of Tigard hereby levies the taxes
provided for in the adopted Budget in the aggregate amount of
$3,804,697, and that these taxes are hereby levied upon all
taxable property within said district as of 1:00 a.m.,
January 1, 1989. The following allocations constitute the
above agjregate levy:
